Brushes, by nature, provide a crisp, present top-end with reduced mid-range and plenty of natural body that gives them weight (think “smiley face”). This makes Handy Drums POP BRUSHES ideal for staying out of the way of the vocals in the mix.
Whether it is gentle brush sweep grooves or strong snare accents, this dynamic kit can do it all.

The snare was sampled at full dynamic range (including rimshots), which can be helpful in so many styles and add that extra dimension to a song section.
The kick is warm with a soft attack and longer natural sustain (less damping), giving more ambiance in its tone.

Although softer than sticks, the loudest brush hits on snares are robust and thick and can have many uses: from natural singer-songwriter, and acoustic pop to full-on 80’s deep snares (with the help of external post-processing, which we leave to you.) We only provide the cleanest, clearest samples to make them applicable to as many genres as possible.
