Electrodynamic contact microphone for ethnic instrumentsSchertler"s DYN-E electrodynamic contact microphone has been specially developed to meet a range of requirements in the performance and recording of world music. From Chinese harps to African djembe, DYN-E offers reliable reproduction of a range of instrumental sounds and is particularly effective when used with ethnic percussion. The sensor offers total freedom to performing musicians, while easing problems such as isolation, bleed or feedback that commonly face sound engineers. Simple and safe to apply, DYN-E can be attached to the instrument using special adhesive putty. A balanced XLR connector enables direct connection into a microphone input on a mixer. As with other Schertler sensors, DYN-E also works effectively through full-range amplification systems such as Schertler"s DAVID or UNICO.
